An adaptive conversational agent asks branching questions based on a parent's reported concerns, probing deeper into flagged domains rather than asking every child the same fixed list. The agent only collects information, it doesn't diagnose or score; a separate deterministic, guideline-cited clinical rules engine produces a five-level risk score across six clinical domains, matches the child to the right specialist (SLP, audiologist, or developmental pediatrician), and generates two parallel reports from the same assessment: a plain-language, color-coded parent report and a detailed clinician handoff report with domain scores, cited clinical guidelines (M-CHAT, ASHA, EHDI), and a unique auditable screening ID. The whole flow runs in about 15 minutes on any device.
