Participated in public demo 2605 with Healthcare AI Readiness Assessment
June 19, 2026

The problem [00:30] As recently as 2025, 82% of health systems have limited or no AI governance. Over 40% of U.S. hospitals run on thin or negative margins and can't afford to spend wrong on AI. The market-leading paid assessment only scores health systems once every three years, so it's stale on arrival. Boards are demanding an AI strategy, vendors are calling, and IT leaders have no honest way to know what they're ready for or what to buy. What they built [01:10] BT Compass automates the first-pass advisory engagement health systems otherwise pay consultants six figures and six weeks for, evidence-validated and delivered in hours. In four steps (Assess, Corroborate, Score, Act), users answer domain questions and upload supporting evidence (roadmaps, statements of work, policy docs); the engine scores answers against that evidence, flags contradictions between self-reported answers and the uploaded proof, and produces an evidence-gated maturity score across eight readiness domains, a board-ready executive brief, and RFP language, all in the same afternoon. What happened [04:20] Built a working assessment engine covering eight readiness domains that produces, in a single afternoon: an evidence-gated domain scorecard with contradiction detection against uploaded evidence, a board-ready executive brief in CIO language, and a 15-page RFP requirements document (procurement priorities, vendor reference requirements, domain-by-domain and standard health AI contract requirements). The ask [07:05] Looking for pilot partners, health systems (doesn't have to be a hospital; primary care or outpatient works) to run a live assessment, and advisory firms interested in evaluating it for client engagements, plus feedback on the scoring engine and domain model.
